Healthy eating on Valentine’s Day can be tricky, let alone maintaining a paleo Valentine’s Day! Luckily real food is very romantic. Sure, you can eat something drowned in cream or a trussed-up confection of gluten and sugar but why not rely on the clean recipes to show you how to get it done in the kitchen on Valentine’s Day without derailing your wellness goals? Love your body… that’s appropriate for Valentine’s Day, isn’t it? Bookmark this post to be your resource, because health + happiness + Valentine’s Day are compatible, I swear!
Paleo Valentine’s Day Breakfast
Breakfast food is my favorite, and I for one am going to take the opportunity to make my paleo Valentine’s Day extra-special with a decadent breakfast. Chocolate waffles? Don’t mind if I do. How cute are eggs and sweet potatoes shaped like a heart? Really looking forward to giving them a try. 🙂
Paleo Valentine’s Day Drinks
Drink options for a paleo Valentine’s Day? There’s always the Norcal margarita, but give these alternatives a try as is or with a splash (or few) of the highest quality tequila, etc. you can get your hands on.

Paleo Valentine’s Day Appetizers
Oysters may be the proverbial aphrodisiac, and they’re sure tasty, too. This is also the time to wrap your favorite things in prosciutto and maybe add some chocolate to the situation, too. All of these appetizers have that certain je ne sais quoi romance that is essential in a paleo Valentine’s Day starter to kick your special meal off right.
Paleo Valentine’s Day Entrées
What is “X factor”? All I know is that these main dishes have it, whether you choose slow cooked salmon with a pop of Meyer Lemon relish, juicy beef sirloin with fresh herb marinade or rich dry-rubbed pork belly.
Paleo Valentine’s Day Desserts
Desserts! The stuff that Valentine’s Day foodie dreams are made of. I chose everything in this selection specifically for being 1) heart-shaped 2) mega chocolate-y 3) pink/red or some combination of these three criteria… with the exception of Sex in the Pan, which was included for different but obvious reasons. 😉

Ok, I am CERTAINLY going to be coming back to this roundup every week! This is an AWESOME roundup of some DELICIOUS looking meals! I’ve already bookmarked a ton of these recipes to make in the coming weeks! I am DYING to try those walnut encrusted scallops! I’ve never actually made scallops, so not sure if I’d mess those up or not hahaha! I’ve also got my eyes on Danielle’s strawberry donuts but I’ve got to buy a donut pan first . . . or make them into another shape lol. I can’t remember the last time I had a donut! 😛
and OMG those RAW chocolate truffles are teasing me! Those look fabulous!!! And the raspberry bonbons! :O Omg! Those look soooo YUMMY!
Thanks for making me extremely hungry! Maybe I shouldn’t have looked at this post RIGHT BEFORE dinner and realizing there’s nothing in the fridge!!! Hahahahaha! I’m going to dream about those walnut scallops tonight! 😛
